TAYLORSVILLE — Police evacuated residents in an apartment complex after a man barricaded himself inside his own apartment in Taylorsville.

Sometime before 10 p.m. Tuesday, police were called to a domestic disturbance call near 4559 Sunstone Road. When officers arrived, they learned a man with a gun had barricaded himself into his apartment, according to police.

It was unclear Tuesday night if anyone was in the apartment with him.

An unkown number of occupants were evacuated to the complex's clubhouse, and officials were working to move them to another location as of 11 p.m.

More information will be posted as it becomes available.
