PROVO — The quadruplets who were welcomed into the world at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center on Sunday are doing “incredible,” according to their dad, Tyson Gardner.

In a new update video, Gardner said none of the babies — all girls — had to be intubated, all four of them are currently on room oxygen air, two of them are off the CPAP, continuous positive air pressure, machine and the other two should be off in the next two days.

“The doctors have taken extremely good care of Ashley and the babies,” Gardner said in the video. “It’s been such an incredible, special couple of days, and we appreciate all your love and support.”

The family will be featured on The Today Show Wednesday morning.

Ashley and Tyson Gardner struggled with infertility for eight years before learning they were expecting two sets of identical twins.

Indie, Esme, Scarlett and Evangeline Gardner arrived 12 weeks early, which isn’t abnormal for quadruplets, who are typically delivered between 28 and 34 weeks.

Three of the babies weighed a little more than two pounds, and the fourth weighed a little less than two pounds.
