SOUTH SALT LAKE — A woman wanted in connection with the kidnapping and pistol whipping of a man in South Salt Lake was arrested over the weekend.
Suzzie Michelle Beamish, 50, of Salt Lake City, was arrested Saturday for investigation of aggravated assault, aggravated robbery and kidnapping.
On Nov. 30, a 34-year-old man had just dropped off a car belonging to Beamish at her house and was walking near 200 East and 3900 South when a car with three women — including Beamish — pulled up and told him to get in or they would shoot him, a Salt Lake County Jail report states.
The man was taken to an alley near 2700 South and Adams Street (430 East) where two other men were waiting and pistol whipped him, the report states, leaving him with head gashes. The group then took his cellphone and wallet.
The search continued Monday for at least four others suspected in the robbery and kidnapping.
