WEST JORDAN — A man rushing his wife to the hospital after she reportedly cut her hand at home, remained in critical condition Sunday after causing a two car crash.
The man was traveling on 9000 South near 5000 West at a high rate of speed, when he came up on a slower vehicle and clipped the rear of that car, said West Jordan Police spokesman Randy Anglesey.
The man's vehicle was propelled across several lanes, hit a cement barricade and bounced into several trees.
The man and his wife, both in their 40s, whose names were not released Sunday, were taken to a local hospital. The man reportedly had a serious leg injury. His wife was reportedly stable, Anglesey said.
The two teens in the vehicle that was clipped were uninjured.
