SALT LAKE CITY — Police are asking for the public's help in finding two people who stole tens of thousands of dollars worth of jewelry from a house.

About 7:30 a.m. Oct. 30th, a man and a woman entered a house in the 2200 East block of Parley’s Terrace (2450 South) through an unlocked door, said Salt Lake police detective Dennis McGowan.

Home surveillance video from the house shows a woman in a zip-up sweatshirt with the hood on her head walking up to the front door and ringing the door bell. When no one answers, more surveillance video shows a blue or black Buick Enclave driving up and a man getting out of the vehicle.

The duo took cash and jewelry, including a set of clear Tiffany diamond earrings worth "tens of thousands of dollars," according to police.

Anyone with information can call police at 801-799-3000.
