SALT LAKE CITY — Police believe three missing men may have been driving a Tahoe with a trailer carrying an ATV before their disappearance.

Salt Lake City police said on Tuesday said they were looking for Danny Kiko Gallegos, 35, Braden Parker Emerson, 23, and Levi Joseph Collins, 34 who hadn't been seen since Saturday. One or all of them may be endangered, police said.

Detectives began their investigation about 10:40 a.m. Monday after business owners reported that a barking dog was inside an abandoned white Chevy Tahoe near the Jordan River at 1740 W. 1500 South. When animal control officers arrived, they noticed a "large" amount of blood in the Tahoe and called police.

Investigators did not know how long the vehicle had been left there before officers looked inside it. Officers said the dog was not injured, so detectives do not believe it was the dog's blood.

Police believe the three men were driving the Tahoe that was pulling a silver dual-axle trailer loaded with a green four-seat Arctic Cat between 1 p.m. on Nov. 1 and 8:45 a.m. on Nov. 2. Family members told police the three are all close friends and were reportedly going out Saturday to ride the ATV.

None of the missing men owned the SUV. Police say they have interviewed the owner of the SUV and do not consider him a suspect.

Anyone with information about the Tahoe, trailer and Arctic Cat or who may have seen the vehicle between the times detailed can contact the Salt Lake City Police Department at 801-799-3000.
