OGDEN — Police arrested two teens after they fled from officers and crashed a vehicle Wednesday.

Ogden Police Department responded to a call of a fight and vehicle disturbance near 2100 Ogden Ave. at about 7:30 a.m. Officers approached a Volkswagen Passat, but the driver fled, according to Ogden police. The car ran a stop sign and hit a Dodge Durango, narrowly missing a nearby home.

A 16-year-old male driver fled the scene of the crash on foot. Police located the teen, who had a warrant out for his arrest, and took him into custody.

The 18-year-old male passenger, who also had a warrant out for his arrest, was also taken into custody.

Both teens, who police have not identified, were taken to the hospital with minor injuries before being booked into Weber County Jail.
