SALT LAKE CITY — A man was shot outside a dance club early Sunday, and an innocent victim was injured as the result of an earlier confrontation.
Salt Lake Police Lt. Carl Merino said the victim in the 1:15 a.m. shooting outside of Karamba, 1051 E. 2100 South, was shot in the chest but is expected to survive his injuries.
The shooting happened as a result of an earlier confrontation that the victim was not a party to, Merino said.
As the occupants of a white Cadillac Escalade pickup truck sped away from the business, a shot was fired toward the nightclub and struck the man.
