ALBUQUERQUE — An Albuquerque, New Mexico woman is still going strong at the ripe age of 107.
Maria Metzgar is the matriarch of her family. Born October 23, 1907 in Domingo, she says the secret to a long life is a healthy life.
"I live a good life, all my life, good, healthy all the time," she said.
Married twice, Maria has seven children and too many grandchildren and great- grandchildren to count. You'd think turning 107 has stopped her social life, but you'd be wrong.
