LOGAN — Utah State kept itself in contention for a Mountain Division title with a 34-20 victory over UNLV.
The Aggies used a strong defensive performance, sacking UNLV quarterback Blake Decker six times and holding the Rebels to just 25 yards rushing. The victory came with price as the Aggies lost quarterback Craig Harrison to a knee injury.
Neither offense could get much going early.
I think the punter is gonna see more playing time than anyone this game. #USUAggies#USUvsUNLV— Dallon Durfey (@DallonDurfey) October 25, 2014

Utah State quarterbacks can't seem to catch a break this season. After losing Chuckie Keeton and Darell Garretson to injuries, third-string quarterback Craig Harrison headed to the locker room on crutches.
After a UNLV touchdown early in the 4th quarter, Utah State put the Rebels away with two late interceptions to preserve the win. With the win, Utah State improves to 5-3 overall and 2-1 in Mountain West play. Next week they travel to the islands to face Hawaii.
