OGDEN — Police are looking for a man who robbed a Wells Fargo Bank branch Tuesday, getting away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The man walked into the bank at 2389 Washington Blvd. at about 4:30 p.m., according to a statement from the Ogden Police Department. He “stated he had a gun and handed a teller a note demanding money,” the statement said.

After getting the money, police say the man left on foot and was last seen heading north on Washington Blvd.

Witnesses say the man, who appeared to be in his mid-30s, is at least 6 feet tall with an average build. A surveillance image shows him wearing a dark coat, gray shirt, sunglasses and a baseball cap.

Anyone who recognizes the man is asked to call the Ogden City Police Department at 801-395-8221.
