COALVILLE — The Summit County Sheriff's Office is trying to locate a man who went missing while walking his dog early Thursday morning.

Allen Dale Broberg, 44, of Coalville, last contacted his parents by cellphone at 1 a.m., according to a statement from the sheriff's office.

Broberg told his parents he was out walking his dog near his home. They became concerned when the dog came home and Broberg did not.

The statement said Broberg suffers from a "medical condition" and "was described by family to have been drinking when last seen."

A reverse-911 call was sent out to Coalville residents, asking them to be on the lookout for Broberg in the area near Hobson Lane and Hoytsville Road.

He is described as 6 feet 2 inches tall, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a sweatshirt.

Anyone with information on Broberg's whereabouts should contact the Summit County Sheriff's Office at 435-615-3600.
