PROVO — Transplanted Utahn B.J. Staten won the 2014 Siegfried and Jensen Utah Open on Sunday, carding a final-round 64 to pull out a sudden-death playoff win over former champ Nathan Lashley at Riverside Country Club in Provo.
Staten drained a five-foot birdie on No. 18 to tie Lashley, and the duo each shot par on the first two playoff holes before Staten pulled it out on the par-4 No. 10.
