OGDEN — A mother and her 7-year-old son who have been missing for almost a week were found Friday morning in Ogden, police say.

Police have not released details about their whereabouts or condition.

Gina Cross and her son Noah Gardner were last seen on Aug. 8 leaving St. Anne’s Center at 137 W. Binford Street in Ogden, but police were not sure where they were headed.

Concerned family members called police to report Cross and her son were missing. Ogden police did not issue an Amber Alert since Cross has legal custody of her son and it was not considered a kidnapping.

The Utah Department of Child and Family Services is involved in the welfare check.

More information will be posted as it becomes available.
