PEOA — Crews believe they have contained a brush fire near Rockport State Park.

The incident commander believes six acres burned, Summit County tweeted.

SR-32 is currently closed and will continue to be closed until 9 p.m. The fire occurred on the west side of the road near mile marker 25.

Summit County tweeted that anyone headed to Oakley Rodeo may need to find an alternate route.

When asked if the fire was near the location of last year's fire that affected the area, Tyler Rowser with the North Summit Fire Department responded, "Too close for comfort."

Officials believe the brush fire was started by a truck when the driver pulled over because it was overheating. The truck started burning the dry grass.

More information will be posted as it becomes available.
