SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake City Police Department is asking the public's help to identify a man they say is involved in burglarizing businesses in the Brickyard area in March.

During the weekend of March 14, a man entered a commercial building at 1245 E. Brickyard Road using a stolen I.D., police said. After he was in the building, he was able to break into several businesses and stole laptops and other items employees had left at their desk, police said.

The suspect is described as a white male between the ages of 25 and 40, medium build, with a light beard and wears glasses.

Police ask anyone with information about the suspect to call 801-799-3000 or send an anonymous tip by texting the keyword TIPSLCPD to 274637 plus relevant information. The case number is 14-42855.
