2 injured after car drives into Corner Bakery

DRAPER — Two people were injured after a car lost control and drove into the Corner Bakery Thursday afternoon.

An elderly woman trying to park her car at the Corner Bakery at 264 E. 12300 South, lost control and accelerated into the building, according to Draper police. The car went through the window and hit two people sitting at a booth.

Police said one person was in serious condition after the accident and the other person was in critical condition. The driver was not injured in the accident.

Around 50 people were in the restaurant at the time of the accident.
