(KPRC) — A man accused of lurking over a child's crib after breaking into a family's home has been charged.
Investigators with the Harris County Sheriff's Offices say 18-year-old Christopher Gomez was arrested Thursday night near Katy on warrants issued in other cases.
Officials credit Gomez's arrest to a Crime Stoppers tip.
Authorities said Friday they formally filed three burglary of a habitation charges against Gomez.
One of the charges stems from the April 5 home burglary where he was seen peering over a child's crib. The video of Gomez in the child's room made national headlines.
Bail for Gomez was set at $100,000 for each count.
He's expected to appear before a judge on Friday.
