LOGAN — A $5,000 reward was offered Wednesday for information leading to the recovery of approximately 10 stolen handguns.
The firearms were stolen from Fast Cache Pawn, located at 527 South Main Street in Logan, before it opened on Feb. 8, according to investigators. They said two people entered the store by breaking the front window. Once inside, police said the burglars broke into a case of firearms and stole approximately 10 handguns of various makes, models and calibers.
The $5,000 reward was offered by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives for any information that leads to the recovery of the firearms and arrest of the burglars.
“ATF in cooperation with the Logan Police Department are committed to solving this investigation,” Logan Police Chief Gary Jensen said in a statement. “We know that oftentimes stolen firearms end up on the streets and in the hands of violent criminals. We are asking the community to come forward with information that could help provide leads and bring those responsible for this criminal act to justice.”
