TAYLORSVILLE — Police are asking for help to identify and locate the woman who robbed a credit union Monday.
The woman entered the Deseret First Credit Union at 4645 S. 2700 West and presented a note to a teller that indicated she wanted money, according to the Unified Police Department. She also threatened the teller in the note, according to investigators.
She left the credit union with an undisclosed amount of money after the clerk complied with her demands, police said. The Unified Police Department was notified of the incident at 2:47 p.m.
The woman did not display or threaten to use a weapon during the robbery and no one was injured, according to investigators.
Investigators described the woman as being of Polynesian descent and about 40 to 45 years old. They said she is about 5-foot-5 and 165 pounds. At the time of the robbery, police said she was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, white T-shirt, baseball hat and black basketball-style shorts with gray shorts underneath.
