SANDY — A small fire drove a family from their home in Sandy early Monday morning.
The fire started just before 1 a.m. in the walls between the kitchen and a bathroom in the home near 9500 South and 2100 East.
The fire did about $20,000 damage, mostly to the walls and attic.
Sandy firefighters said the residents will be allowed to return but that they found somewhere else to sleep for the night.
No one was injured in the incident.
