SALT LAKE CITY — Utah Highway Patrol troopers are searching for a man who allegedly stole two vehicles in the Salt Lake City area Friday night.
Police officers have recovered one of the stolen vehicles, but the man is currently on the run in a second stolen vehicle described as a 2003 Acura MDX with a Matrix sticker in the window. The second vehicle was stolen from a Toys R Us on State Street in Murray, according to Unified police.
The man allegedly stopped to gas up the vehicle at a 7-Eleven on 5900 S. State Street, and police were able to obtain the man's credit card number.
The man is described as a white male, around 5'9 and 180 to 220 pounds. He was seen wearing blue jeans and a blue hoodie.
The man was last seen around 5900 South and 900 East near the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
