ROCKVILLE, Washington County — Looters have struck a Rockville home recently smashed by a boulder, police said.
A red KitchenAid mixer was missing from the driveway Monday morning and some squatters have been ejected from the house, Springdale Police Chief Kurt Wright said Tuesday.
"It's hard to say what all has been taken," Wright said. "It's just mass destruction and we really don't know exactly what was here and what has been taken."
Jeff Elsey, 58, and Maureen Morris, 65, were killed when a giant boulder struck their home Dec. 12. Relatives have been trying to recover memorabilia and other possessions exposed in the wreckage.

Two people are dead after a massive boulder slammed into a house during a rock slide Thursday.Wright said officers haven't caught anyone crossing the police tape yet, but there is a constant stream of traffic from sunrise to sunset with 15 or 20 cars at a time stopping for people to get out and take pictures of the destruction.
"We're not sure if those kind of people are seeing things and coming back after dark when the scene is vacant," he said.
The site will remain busy as geology experts from the state come to measure the boulders and the Utah Department of Transportation reviews the scene, Wright said. Officers will also be on scene until a fence is put in place to protect the property.
