MIDVALE — Police are looking for a man who robbed a Zions Bank Friday.

The man gave a note demanding money and stating it was a robbery to a teller at the Zions Bank at 159 W. Center Street, according to the Unified Police Department. The incident occurred at 11:33 a.m.

The teller gave the man an undisclosed amount of money before the man fled on foot, Lt. Justin Hoyal said. Officers do not know if the man got into a vehicle afterwards.

Investigators described the man as being a 5-foot-9-inch tall caucasian male of medium build. Hoyal said he had some facial hair and was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with a brown knit hat.

The man did not show any weapons during the robbery but is considered to be dangerous, Hoyal said.
