WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - In his first public comments about his condition since a medical scare over the summer, Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden says doctors have given him a "clean bill of health."
Biden still won't give details about what led to his treatment in University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, but he tells The News Journal ( http://delonline.us/1b9U2Er) "I feel great. The docs have given me a clean bill of health and I feel very fortunate."
At the time, the White House said only that the 44-year-old Democrat had a successful procedure. Biden was initially hospitalized after becoming weak and disoriented during an Indiana vacation in August. Since then, Biden has avoided public events, but says his health hasn't kept him from working full time.
Biden suffered a mild stroke in 2010.
