ODGEN — An unidentified 43-year-old male is in the hospital after he was allegedly stabbed Saturday night.

Around 10:00 p.m. last night, Ogden police were called to 247 24th Street on a reported stabbing. Officers located the injured man outside the building near the south parking lot.

Police said the man had a single knife wound to his upper torso.

The man was treated on the scene by Ogden Fire Department medical personnel then taken to a local hospital where he is in stable but serious condition.

Police stopped a car from leaving the scene and identified an 18-year-old male as a suspect. He was booked into Weber County Jail.

The case is under investigation by the Ogden Metro Gang unit. Anyone with information about the incident can call police at 801-629-8276.
