'Miracle' baby fights severe congenital disorder

Jessica and Josh Swainston were excited to find out they were pregnant with their third child. At their first prenatal appointment, however, the doctors told them the baby was not doing well and Jessica would most likely miscarry. By 12 weeks, though, the doctors were surprised to see the baby had grown.

At 21 weeks, the Swainston's baby was diagnosed with a congenital diaphragmatic hernia, a condition where the diaphragm is malformed to the point that abdominal organs push themselves up into the lungs.

A 17-year-old girl and four adults, including two from St. George, were arrested in a prostitution sting Friday that involved the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Fackrell is a station chief for Backyard Broadcast, a nonprofit group that leverages the power of teens to raise awareness of sex trafficking and funds to train police officers how to identify and respond to those being trafficked.

A Utah minister participated in the original civil rights march in Washington 50 years ago, and said he is surprised at the disparity that still exists in America.

Fifty years later, his memory of the march, the people and Martin Luther King Jr.'s speech is more powerful than ever.

Family of teen found Friday expresses thanks
