CEDAR CITY, Utah (AP) - A 32-year-old Cedar City man has been arrested on several charges of aggravated assault after police say he tried to run over several people with his vehicle.

Cedar City police Sgt. Jimmy Roden says Saad Mushabab Al Jabri was involved in an altercation at a big party on Saturday after he allegedly left the party drunk and angry before returning to the scene.

Roden tells The (St. George) Spectrum (http://tinyurl.com/oefe4px) that Jabri then used his vehicle to crash into another vehicle several times and attempted to run into several people.

He's been charged with six counts of aggravated assault, DUI, criminal mischief and failure to report an accident. He was being held in the Iron County Jail on $25,000 bail.
