CENTERVILLE — Police have a 19-year-old man in custody suspected of damaging more than nine cars.
Police say the man, whose name hasn't been released, was spotted in an apartment parking lot on Thanksgiving morning kicking cars. He then crossed I-15 on foot and continued kicking cars at Specialty Auto where he was caught on security cameras.
"Through a lot of diligent police work, interviewing witness, and even through the use of Facebook, we have identified who the suspect is," said Assistant Police Chief Paul Child.
The suspect is cooperating with the investigation. He told police he had been drinking prior to the vandalism.
