SALT LAKE CITY — Long before the NBA season tipoff, hopeful song stylists took to the EnergySolutions Arena floor Friday for auditions to sing the national anthem at Utah Jazz home games.

Two of KSL's own, Nkoyo Iyamba and Alex Kirry, joined those singing to Old Glory.

Soloists, as well as groups, auditioned for the spots throughout the season.

Judges for the auditions required singers to sing the anthem straight through without stylizing the song too much.

All participants in the audition will be notified by email as to whether they have been invited to perform the national anthem.

The auditions are held every year on the first Friday of October.
