PROVO — On Oct. 3, three juvenile males were arrested in connection with 40 counts of graffiti on the Provo River Trail.
The teenagers used spray paint to "tag" trees, walls, and the Fort Utah memorial with gang related graffiti. Much of the graffiti appears to be artistic variations of the three letters, "D," "L," and "B."
"Graffiti is a quality of life issue affecting our citizens directly," said Chief Rick Gregory of the Provo County police. "This is one of our top five crimes that we have identified and focus on daily. We will not tolerate damage without accountability."
The three teens are currently in custody with juvenile detention services. More information will be posted as it becomes available.
