WASHINGTON COUNTY — A couple of teenagers from Washington County are suspected of stealing a car during the weekend and disappearing. Their parents are desperate to find them as police agencies from around the state try to track them down.
Oceia Grainger, 15, of Toquerville and Kade Shearer, 15, of La Verkin disappeared Saturday morning.
"I can't eat, I can't sleep, I can't do anything but worry about where she is and if she's OK," said Grainger's mother Shirlz McArthur.
The two teenagers met as freshman at Tuacahn High School last year, but attended Hurricane High School this year. Grainger's mother said they've been dating for about eight months.

"It surprises me that she would have left with him," McArthur said. "I know that she had a lot of feelings for him, and they're young — that they act stupid on those feelings."
McArthur says she checks Facebook on her phone constantly, waiting on any news, but the screen remains blank. Shearer's parents said their son was grounded and wasn't supposed to leave the house.
"He seemed in a good mood and I had no reason he would take off," said Sherer's father, Douglas Shearer.
"We're just afraid," added the teen's mother, Deborah Shearer. "They're 15-years-old and we love him and we just want them home safe."
The parents say the pair stole a Chevy Blazer from the home of one of Shearer's relatives near Hurricane between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. Saturday. The teens abandoned the SUV in a ditch in Ephraim early Monday.
That same morning, in the same area, a blue 1996 Dodge Neon was reported stolen. Police say the teen's may be driving that car, but have no proof.

Grainger's mother said her daughter left with $10, a blanket and the clothes on her back.
"We're scared," Deborah Shearer said. "We know they don't have what they need and they're taking things from other people. So, we're just worried for their welfare and we're worried for other people. We want them to come home before somebody gets hurt."

Perry
In a separate case, police say two children who ran away from home in Perry, near Brigham City, Monday night have been found safe.
Tanner Williams, 13, and his sister, Avery Williams, 10, were reported missing early this morning. There was added concern because Tanner Williams has asthma and did not have medication or an inhaler with him.
Both of the children are currently being returned to their home.
