PROVO — This week's High 5 goes to a group at Sundance Resort that is having a positive impact on the environment.
The resort runs a program that takes old bottles and turns them into glassware.
"We sell them here at Sundance. We also use them in our restaurants," said Lucy Ridolphi of Sundance Resort.
Sundance brings in artists from Mexico who specialize in working with recycled bottles. They literally crush the old bottles, and then heat them at more than 2,000 degrees in a kiln at the resort.
"It's really beautiful to watch them work. It's a work of art," Ridolphi said.
The resort also accepts old bottles and jars from the community for the recycling program.
