ESPN college football writer, Brett McMurphy says that the Big East is still very interested in BYU. In an article written today, McMurphy said the Big East is debating whether to invite BYU or Air Force as the conference's 14th team.

The Big East showing interest in the Cougars is not new. BYU talked with the Big East last year, but ultimately decided not to accept an invitation. There are also no indications that BYU has changed their mind.

Is the Big East ready to give BYU what they want in order to get them to accept an invitation; or is the conference hoping that BYU will drop their demands and join as-is?
