Since the Sept. 1 storm that caused flooding and mudslides along a hillside burn scar from the Dump Fire, thousands of volunteers have cleaned up mud and water from homes in Saratoga Springs. For those who want to help but can't offer manpower, a relief account has been set up by the city at the Bank of American Fork.

In addition to the donation account, clothing, toy, furniture and home repair donations are being accepted at Avondale Academy at 3300 Running Creek Way in Lehi every weekday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. A detailed list of items needed to replace those damaged has been compiled by the city.
According to the Saratoga Springs Relief blog run by Breanna McOmber, wife of Councilman Michael McOmber and neighbor to those affected by the mudslide, as of Thursday, only 24 donations have been made, totaling $2,643.
