SALT LAKE CITY — Organizers of a new campaign called "Drop 5 for the Book Drive" hope it will motivate you to clear off your bookshelves.

Joey and Grace Zito love to read. But today, they're doing something special with their extra books.

Joey, who is 12 years old, said, "I feel like every child should learn how to read because it helps them grow and it helps their imagination grow."

They want to share their books with the many Utah children who don't have a single book at home to call their own. So they're clearing out space and helping others by donating to the book drive.

Grace, who is 10 years old, said, "I think it expands kids' vocabulary words. And it takes them to another place in their imagination while they're still in the same place they started the book."

And it's easy to do. Pick five books that are just taking up space on your bookshelves. Then, bring them to the bin or container at your nearest Papa Murphy's. For every five books, Papa Murphy's will throw in a Mini Murph Make 'N Bake Pizza Kit.

Kyle McPhee of Papa Murphy's explained, "I've got three kids of my own and one of their favorite activities is reading books. So I think every kid should have a pile of books to read each day."

Reading Tree volunteers will collect all the donated books and distribute them to Utah children and schools that need them.

"It just gives us a chance to help out children in need that don't have opportunities to get books," McPhee said.

"Drop 5 for the Book Drive" runs through April 16. You can find drop-off bins at Papa Murphy's throughout Utah.
