SALT LAKE CITY — Children and adults covered by Medicaid or those without health insurance are eligible for free flu shots at a special clinic on Tuesday.
Community Nursing Services will be offering the shots, paid for by the Utah Medical Association and the Hemingway Foundation, on Tuesday, Nov. 15, from 4 to 7 p.m. The clinic will be held at the Palmer Court, 999 S. Main Street.
The non-profit, community-based health care provider group has long been a major contributor in developing immunization programs in Utah and plans to administer an estimated 85,000 flu vaccinations throughout the state this season.
Supplies are limited and everyone is advised to arrive early, as shots will be given first come, first served. For more information, visit www.cns-cares.org.
