SALT LAKE CITY -- Another Utahn has been kicked off "The Biggest Loser." Sarah Nitta, who grew up in Bountiful, was voted off the show on Tuesday.

Sarah, who now lives in Nevada, told KSL she was shocked and disappointed to be voted off. "I think disappointed is the perfect word to use because I wasn't angry at everyone. I was certainly surprised and extremely disappointed," she said.

"I feel like I was taken off the ranch prematurely. I was just barely starting to learn the things I needed to. And the black team had also promised my mom they would keep me there and they didn't. That betrayal to her was the most painful thing," she said.

Nitta is now looking to the future. She's competing for the $100,000 at-home prize. She says she's doing a lot of mixed martial arts and taking spin classes, Zumba classes and running and walking.

She says she's extremely grateful for the opportunity to go on "The Biggest Loser" because the show taught her how to have confidence in herself.

"When I started to believe in myself," she said, "that was the greatest lesson I learned, that I can do anything and it's OK to try and fail because it's possible to get back up. And for me that was the turning point, when I stopped fearing everything and started believing in myself."

Nitta has a lot to believe in. She's lost 92 pounds since her first Biggest Loser weigh-in.

She's looking forward to seeing if her weight loss can help her carry a baby to term since she lost several pregnancies before going on "The Biggest Loser."

"I think the greatest blessing of this entire process is that I'm not only physically prepared to become a mother, but also mentally and emotionally. I think I learned some major things that I needed to be ready for that step," she said.

Two Utahns are still competing on "The Biggest Loser" -- Olympic gold medalist Rulon Gardner and his business partner, Justin Pope.

Sarah's mother, Denise Hill, was kicked off the show two weeks ago.

There will be a Biggest Loser Casting Call on March 12 at the Maverik Center 8am-4pm. More information can be found at ksltv.com.
