(KSL News) A woman accused of stealing nearly $1 million from a school foundation has pleaded guilty.
Denise Aughney made the plea as part of a deal that reduced the charges against her.
Aughney was accused of forging signatures to get access to money given to the Weber School Foundation. Prosecutors say she then altered records to cover her tracks.
She was originally charged with 57 counts of money laundering and forgery. The plea deal reduced the charges to 45 counts.
