This week's schedule gets underway tonight as BYU travels north to take on Boise State. The rest of the week's games take place on Saturday, with No. 19 Utah facing UCLA in the Rose Bowl, Utah State hosting Fresno State, No. 1 Alabama playing against No. 6 Texas A&M, and No. 20 Western Michigan playing Eastern Michigan.
At 23 years old, Joe Williams had given up his hopes of playing football at the collegiate level and was planning on the next phase of his life once he graduated from the University of Utah in the fall with a degree in sociology.
