SALT LAKE CITY — The NFL draft begins this Thursday and for Utah fans this draft has to be one of the most exciting since 2005 when Alex Smith went first overall to the San Francisco 49ers.
It has been talked about day in and day out since the end of the football season where Star Lotulelei would go and when he would go. Early in the projection process he was slated to go first overall to the Kansas City Chiefs. Lately the mock drafts have Star going a little later to Philadelphia 4th overall, or even possibly even as late as 14th to the Carolina Panthers.
Reggie Dunn, Mr. Return Man Extraordinaire will also await his name this coming weekend. Utah fans will most likely have to wait deep into Saturday to hear his name if his name gets called at all.
Joe Kruger also hopes to hear his name. His early departure from Utah was unexpected but he certainly has the size that belongs in the league.
