This is Chris Redgrave for Zions Bank Speaking on Business.

There's nothing like being part of a great team, especially if you're known as best in class. Grant Nielsen and Amanda Dickson have been an outstanding team for 22 years while sharing the KSL radio broadcast booth. They happen to be one of the most respected morning teams in the country. It's certainly fitting for their talent, creativity and credibility to be on a station like KSL.

The magic started when Grant was brought in from one of Bonneville's stations in Seattle to test for the morning position. At the time, Amanda was on weekends, and when the consultant tested them together, he said, "This is your morning show right here." And that was the beginning of one of the top-rated radio teams in the country.

To give you an idea of the commitment it takes to do a morning radio show, Grant and Amanda have to be in studio by 4 a.m. That means the alarm goes off at 3. They've hosted close to 20,000 hours together, covering local, national and global events like the Y2K scare, Elizabeth Smart's kidnapping, the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City, the success of Real Salt Lake, wall-to-wall coverage of 9/11, plus broadcasting live from around the country for presidential campaigns.

During their time together they've experienced life in the booth as co-hosts and best friends, all while keeping the utmost professional demeanor. If you know them, you understand they are brother and sister in every sense of the word.

So, as Grant Nielsen embraces retirement today, the Grant and Amanda show will experience a transformation as he hands the mic to Brian Martin from Washington, D.C. who has been with KSL for five years. Brian will be the new cohost for this dynamic morning news team, and we'll still have the pleasure of hearing Grant occasionally. At Zions Bank we consider it a privilege to have been part of the success of the Grant and Amanda program and we welcome Brian to Utah's Morning News now the Brian and Amanda show.

For Zions Bank, I'm Chris Redgrave, speaking on business.
