It was for these, and many other reasons that Kerry Smithers opened Miner's Grill in Park City earlier this year.... Her inspiration was to provide a grill and sports bar to cater to the locals... And it's working...At Miner's Grill, they offer burgers, wings and pizza, as well as a selection of salads .... In addition, they hand cut their fries, and the chef makes all sauces daily.
This is not an attempt at fine dining, but just an honest serving of homemade comfort food. And, they're open late. So if it's after 9, and you still need dinner, there's somewhere you can go. Kerry's had a solid first season and looks forward to what the fall will bring.
So whether it's a coach bringing his players in after a big game or a family with kids, Miner's Grill has a little something for everyone. There's a 96-inch video wall, playing sports and other programs so the players keep up with their team while they dine.
Of course Kerry loves all the different customers she finds in Park City, including the many tourists who come to ski Utah's famous powder. Miner's Grill is located right in the middle of Park City on Snow Creek Drive, and Kerry says the location is perfect....As a long-time skier, she's been traveling to the city for years to ski and visit family. It was her dream to get out of New York City, where she operated a software company on Wall Street, and move here, so she feels lucky she's been able to do just that
