SALT LAKE CITY — Lehi running back Caden Calton ran his name into the state high school football record book Friday night. The 5-foot-8, 180 pound junior rushed for 347 yards in the win over Pineview, which is the seventh best single game rushing total in state history.

Calton needed 38 carries to reach 347 yards. He also found the end zone four times, while leading the Pioneers to a 36-33 win over the Panthers.

The single best rushing game in the state of Utah took place only two years ago when Kyle Foy of Altamont ran for 451 yards, surpassing Kent Phillips of Morgan, who rushed for 434 yards way back in 1958.
