TOOELE — KSL Sports has chosen Stansbury High School to host Friday's broadcast of Game Night Live at 6:30 p.m. on KSL 5.

The Stallions began the season ranked No. 3 in 3AA after an 11-1 season and region title in 2012 but were humbled by a Week 1 loss at Desert Hills.

They will host Hurricane this Friday. The Tigers are another ranked 3AA team that lost on the road in Week 1. The Tigers fell at Skyline 28-6 to open the season. Here are five other games to watch this Friday:

Pleasant Grove at Timpview

The Pleasant Grove Vikings opened the season with an impressive 52-24 win over an Orem team expected to win Region 7 in 4A. The Vikings now must go on the road and battle the defending 4A champions. Timpview needed to rally in the 2nd half at home to defeat Sky View 34-28.

Bingham at Herriman

The Miners are coming off an impressive performance on national television against one of Idaho's best teams. Now they make the short trip to Herriman this Friday to see where they stand against Utah competition. The Mustangs opened the season with an impressive 42-7 win over West Jordan racking up 300 yards rushing. This will be a great test for Herriman, who makes the move to 5A this season, to see where they stand against the team to beat in 5A.

Highland at Syracuse

Syracuse has one of the best players in the state in BYU commit Kavika Fonua. Highland has one of the best players in the state in Michigan commit Bryan Mone. They both lead two of the most talented defenses in the state and will make for an interesting matchup on Friday.

Lone Peak at Alta

Alta is looking for a confidence boost after a humbling 42-28 road defeat against East last Friday. A win over Lone Peak would do wonders. The Knights are led by one of the best quarterbacks in the state in Baron Gajkowski. He had four touchdown runs and a touchdown pass in a season opening victory over Bountiful.

Morgan at South Summit

These two teams will meet for the 54th time on Friday and this time both teams are state championship contenders in their respective classifications. The both opened the season with dominant victories.
