OREM — Bingham defeated Riverton in the 5A semifinals to advance to the championship game on Saturday.

Since this is a double elimination tournament, Riverton will play Layton at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday to try and reach the championship game.

Bingham scored 11 runs on 14 hits to 10-run the Silverwolves to reach the championship game. Jacob Druce led the Miners with 3 RBI, Austin Florez, Coleman Stout, and Lance Harrison each had 2 RBI for Bingham.

Brennen Lund pitched all 5 innings for Bingham giving up 1 run on only 3 hits. Lund was also 3-3 from the plate including a walk.
