(KSL News) Alcohol may have been a factor in a fatal accident in Summit County this morning.
It happened in Echo Canyon. According to the Utah Highway Patrol, the driver of a car tried to pass a semi-truck driving on I-80. He over-corrected and went under the semi. That caused both to lose control.
Highway patrol troopers believe the driver of the car may have been intoxicated. He died on the scene.
The driver of the semi was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
