MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) -- Matt Martin scored 28 points Saturday to lead the Montana men's basketball team to a 90-86 overtime victory over Weber State.

Montana (9-10, 3-3) overcame an 11-point deficit in the second half to down the Wildcats (12-9, 5-3), which dropped their second Big Sky Conference road game in three nights.

A layup by Weber State's Dezmon Harris with 19 seconds left in regulation play tied the game at 81. Bryan Ellis had a chance to win the game for the Grizzlies as time expired, but came up short on a jump shot from the top of the key.

In overtime, a David Patten free throw put the Wildcats up 82-81 with 3:24 to play. Free throws by Ellis and Martin put Montana back on top for good, 83-82, with 2:19 to play.

Ellis hit a jump shot with 49 seconds left in overtime to give Montana an 85-82 edge. Juan Pablo Silveira hit two free throws for Weber State with 31 seconds to play to bring the Wildcats within 85-84.

Martin then hit four straight free throws to give Montana an 89-84 lead. A layup by Harris with nine seconds remaining cut the Montana lead to three, 89-86.

Ellis sealed the victory by hitting one of two free throws with six seconds to play.

The first half of the game saw the teams exchange leads several times before Weber took a four-point advantage, 40-36, to the locker room.

Andrew Strait finished the game with 22 points for the Grizzlies, while Ellis chipped in 13. Matt Dlouhy pulled down a game-high 11 rebounds for Montana.

Silveira led Weber State with 23 points. Patten added 19 points, and Harris had 14.
