SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Brent Wilson and Jason Siggers each scored 22 points to lead Albany in its 59-to-58 win over Utah.

It was the Great Danes' fifth straight win and Utah's fifth loss of the season by three points or less.

Freshman Stephen Weigh scored a career-high 22 points to lead the Utes, but they failed to make any crucial plays in the final minute as they extended their worst start since 1982.

Center Luke Nevill lost the ball amid a double-team with less than ten seconds left. And the Utes twice failed to get rebounds after Albany missed the first shot of a one-and-one free-throw opportunity in the final four seconds.

Siggers intercepted a desperation pass with point-nine seconds left to seal the victory for Albany. His 22 points were a career-high, barely a week after suffering a sprained ankle.
