SOUTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (AP) -- Jimmy Baron hit a pair of free throws with 19 seconds remaining in overtime to lift Rhode Island to an 85-84 victory over Utah Saturday.

Baron scored eight of his team-high 21 points in overtime. His 3-pointer with 2:45 to play in overtime tied it at 77, while another 3-pointer he made gave Rhode Island (6-4) an 82-79 lead with 59 seconds left.

Baron has not missed a free throw in 26 attempts this season.

Utah's Shaun Green tied the game at 1:14 in overtime with a 3-pointer, then Utah (3-6) went ahead 84-82 with 35 seconds left when Luke Nevill made a pair of foul shots. Nevill finished with 25 points and 16 rebounds.

After Baron made his two fouls shots, Utah had two chances to win. Nevill's shot was blocked by Darrell Harris with two seconds left. Johnnie Bryant ended up with the ball and took an open 3-pointer, which was off the mark.

Rhode Island was ahead 72-69 when Green made an open 3-pointer at the buzzer to tie it and force overtime.

Rhode Island never trailed in regulation and led by 14 with 15:56 to play.

Rhode Island's Will Daniels added 15 points, despite playing just 24 minutes due to foul problems. Daniels has scored in double figures in all 10 of Rhode Island's games. Parfait Bitee and Harris each scored 11 points.

Green and Bryant each finished with 18 points for Utah.
